A PAINT BY NUMBERS PORTRAIT OF WAR
By William J. Wahlsteen Published: Nonember 8, 2007 People, Feelings, News Media, Politicians, and CEO's can all lie but numbers can't. By using the colors of passion, pride, fear, revenge, and patriotism, they Paint a Portrait of Red, White, and Blue, that covers the numbers. If we were to look at the Black and White of the numbers only we would Draw a different conclusion. One thing that never lies is numbers. That's why we use money. Money is the true value of all things expressed in numbers. Money tells the truth. Guns, Government, and Money, are all tools that are either used or abused. The good and evil lies in how they are applied by the people that use or abuse it. Let's peel back the colors of our emotional portrait and see what the numbers say in Black and White instead of the emotional Red, White, and Blue. There are 137,000 contractors in Iraq. I had to check this several times because I was so sure I had it wrong. All of this 6 billion dollar a month "Private Contractor", "Free Enterprise", is being financed by us the U.S. taxpayer. Contractors are being paid time and material with a large profit margin guaranteed. A lot of this "Free Market Enterprise" being a No Bid contract. The "Private Security Soldiers" paid for by these Government (taxpayer) Contracts earn upwards around $100,000 per year plus whatever their benefits are. Our special forces are joining this Corporate CEO Army and leaving the lower paid Government Tax Payers Army. These same CIA CEO's of the OIL, influence policies that cut Entitlement programs and re assign the money to themselves to sell us/U.S. Protection. I call this Racketeering. Especially if the enemies were put in power by you, and you sold them all their weapons, nuclear materials, and technology under the guise of free trade. Meanwhile your cutting the pay and Benefits for an Army loyal to it's Country, to give Higher pay and benefits for an Army loyal to the Corporations. The Corporate Army paid for by the taxpayer, serves the interest of itself, diplomats, and it's CEO's. They secure their own prosperity and that of it's corporate Army. The Peoples Army is being destroyed and replaced by a Corporate Army at the taxpayers expense. We the tax payers have raised our debt ceiling several times to finance this act of Eminent Domain in Iraq. The trillion dollars of "Government Borrowed" money is paid back to the" Free Enterprise System" with "Interest" therefore the Cost is much higher. Interest being a " Profit" for the "Corporate Banking Industry". Therefore this search and seizure are the Responsibility and Liability of the Taxpayer and the Government. Once we have stabilized the region the 'Free Enterprise' system with it's Private Security/Soldiers will step up to take over the Authority and Assets phase of the "Free Nation" and I do mean "Free". Then they will make another Trillion Dollars. They won't pay us/U.S. a dime and they don't have to share the spoils with any other Nation. That's why other nations were kept out of it in the first place. They will take on the Profit and we shall assume the Debt. They will also make more Money (assets) from the Government Taxpayers (liability) when they are given contracts from the Taxpayers Government for outsourcing the intelligence on the region. This will result in more confirmation of terrorism by anyone that resists Corporate Dictatorship. This will give them the ability to influence the market thru ripples of terrorism, as well as the ability to influence policy. Enron had the ability to call up the Power Utilities to shut down power to raise the cost of energy to loot California of Billions of dollars. This is the same Corporatism that had Ken Lay's Conviction " Rolled Over In His Grave". This is the same Corporatism that now denies they spied on us/U.S. for years thru the telephone CIA CEOS, yet they want Amnesty from law suits. They should write a book on how we didn't do it. Since Viet Nam, Star Wars, Iran Contra, all the way up to Duke Cunningham, Congress and The "Secretary of Defense Contractors" have been convicted and/or pardoned for treasonous behavior for profit. They have also been pardoned for a lot of this crime to protect the White House. I believe in Capitalism and the Free Market System. That's not what this is. The CEO's that make in one day what their worker makes in one year (365 times the amount) say they want Government off the back of big business. Look at the numbers. This entire system is Big Business riding the back of Big Government till it collapses. Then they will go to the "Government" Auction and buy everything with the money they made. (made, not earned). Just like they did with the Savings and Loan debacle and the Tech, Telecom rip off. These trillion dollar scams were and still are called Deregulation and Privatization. If we bend over backwards far enough we will be able kiss our own assets goodbye. When corporatism makes a profit on the money they lend us, to buy things that make them more profit, and then they are also paid to be in charge of the information that influences these decisions and America ends up trillions of dollars in debt, then Free Enterprise and Free Trade is actually slavery. We only exist to consume and pay debt. Free for them, Costly for us. The American G.I. is sacrificing his life, his wife, his children, and his prosperity at home to unelected Global Corporatism in his own country and all the while he is watching the same thing take place in a country that he is occupying. A country's sovereignty and economy that is being forfeited to the same corporations thru illegal immigration, privatization, street gangs, and unfair trade. All this while working double time and getting paid half time. After having their tours extended mercilessly, when they do get a break to return home earlier than expected, it disqualifies them for higher benefits. Not like his counterpart the Corporate soldier. At some point he wonders maybe the American G.I.'s presence in the trillion dollar arena is so that it can be defined as war so the cost can be assigned to the taxpayer, instead of the private industry that will take the lifelong profits and leave us/U.S. with the debt. I SALUTE THE REAL SOLDIER THE AMERICAN G.I. I will also leave you with what the G.I. bill used to be before the"Phonies" OUTFOXED us/U.S. and OUTSOURCED us/U.S. 1944 GI Bill of Rights
The middle Class with it's Unions and Soldiers returning home with the G. I. Bill built the greatest society ever in existence. At one time we had A real General, and A real President, all in the same man, that warned us/U.S. about this epidemic. The "EISENHOWER" OF THE PAST HAD THE "EYES IN OUR" FUTURE.
Again I salute The American G.I. We support you and want you home.
Since you have the courage to fight for my right to speak, I will have the courage to speak for what you fight.
