        President Bush has long been an enemy of the constitution, the citizen, the consumer, the worker, the unions, the shareholder, the elderly, the veteran, the retired, and of course all of those who are least among us. Protection and Justice for these Americans at one time came from Real Democrats. (The list of Real Democrats who are contained in the third paragraph of this editorial.)  Those who are least among us, such as people who are sick, homeless, and uneducated are the bench mark for which, according to the Bible, God will pass judgment. That, and of course,  "Our Own Words".

 

         In the President's own words he has said the country is now in danger because he cannot eaves drop on Americans. Something he has long denied doing. When given a bill to allow this unnecessary and unconstitutional ability he vetoed it. Why ? Because it didn't provide protection for the Phone companies for past, present, and future crimes against the Constitution. All the same crimes they say they have not committed. This proves, as Senator Kennedy has said, that the President is by his own words exposing America to attack in order to protect the phone companies. This, along with the contradiction of protecting America while having an open border, tells you everything you need to know.

 

        Any administration that has had so much incompetence, corruption, secrecy, abuse of power, and cronyism, should never be given more power. Authority must be Balanced with Responsibility.  Accountability is The balance of Authority and Responsibility. Have you ever seen any Accountability, or Responsibility, in this Administration ever?  No. Only more and more Authority! Where are the Real Democrats? While rightfully arguing that Bush has constantly bypassed the legislative Branch with his illegal power, the Democrats have wrongfully sided with him to allow him to by pass the Judicial Branch. I believe it was Madison who said when you don't have the three branches of government you have tyranny.

 

        Because the Democrats and Republicans have formed a "Third Party" run by global elitists, the Senate has granted the request of "unelected lobbyists"  to give the phone companies protection from the Law. Here is the list of those who voted for the constitution and enforcement of the law and those who voted against the constitution in favor of the law breakers. The yea's are for us/U.S. and the nay's are against us/U.S. Let's just hope that there are "Democrats in the House" when they get their chance to save America.         One last footnote "real democrats" would never have confirmed some one like Mukasey to be Attorney General. He is going to cover for Bush Crimes and cannot be trusted. For example; he has pushed for immunity for the telecom's even though his step-son has taken a job with the Giuliani law firm defending Verizon for spying on Americans.  All of this information can be easily accessed. This is called Transparency. Unfortunately  we are spoon fed news that is more of an infomercial  in which pertinent Information is more  "Invisible"  than it is  "Transparent".  Fortunately we have the ability thru the Ironworkers Web site to gain access to our representatives and urge them to save us/U.S.   This is your last chance America. Call and leave a message. If not the Most Powerful Lame Duck President will still be running the country even after he leaves office. All opposition to both Corporate parties will be monitored and eventually be called terrorism.
